I have found I do 'deep work' best in 1.5-2hr chunks. On my study days I have two deep work chunks and that's it. I think it also works with Parkinson's law - the less time you schedule, the less time the task will take.
Living our lives 90 minutes at a time. It's a great reminder of Parkinson's Law. For some reason as I read you write that it clicks that the ADHD procrastivity is really just that law come to life. We wait the last minute to get the minimum viable product done, then do it all in a huge cram session.
Finding a way to leverage those cram sessions sooner and more frequently (while avoiding burnout or overwhelm) is my goal.
