Things that improve the back are the best of bonuses... which reminds me (no, seriously) I need go do my sun salutation and exercises so I can have a day that I don't even think about my back (more than I already have. =oP
I love idea of poses for other qualities, it just occurs to me as I mention yoga, that I'm doing lots of poses for animals, but I never think about the 'qualities' aspect.
I imagine myself pushing off a branch into mid air like a hawk, committed to the strike. I imagine my body doing that and think of what it would feel like to have the wind beside my head.
You been reading my mind, Jody!?! I love how you phrase this. Our subconscious does do the heavy lifting. The key is the nutrients we feed it with our word choice:
