I love this and rely on routines a lot myself - although I also like to leave time for spontaneity. Routines is a topic I definitely want to write about soon!
My mission in creating some form of 'routine crafting system' is to let people make something that works for them, that's adaptable as their interest change, and that has plenty of room for spontaneity. The incorrect belief that 'one size fits all' is possible is even more pronounced for neurodivergent brains.
Hey Jody. Again, really insightful and practical advice.
I really liked what you said about having routines for different times of the day to get yourself back on track. Maybe if you slacked in the morning, you could have an afternoon routine that helps you understand what happened and how to do damage control to get back on track. I'll try that for sure. It's not uncommon for me to lose my footing during the morning time.

I love your description of “adjusting the recipe” person to person. Day to day. Great advice
